About this guide
Hermione’s Home Rescue Guide is an independent educational publication about the home side of cat rescue: adoption transitions, foster routines, behavior, enrichment and practical preparation.
We are not a rescue organization
This website does not operate a shelter, accept surrendered animals, list cats for adoption, process applications, collect donations, or provide rescue placement services.
There is an active nonprofit cat-rescue organization called Hermione’s Home. This publication is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a continuation of that organization. The similar wording in this domain is why we make that distinction prominent.
How we approach content
Articles are written for everyday cat guardians and foster caregivers. We favor low-pressure handling, observation, environmental management and clear thresholds for seeking veterinary care. We avoid inventing expert reviewers or presenting general articles as individualized medical advice.
Editorial scope
Our focus is practical education: what to prepare, what to observe, what progress can look like, and how to make a home easier for a cat to navigate. We do not publish adoption listings or fundraising campaigns.
